The gated self-parking area is spacious, and well-maintained with many parking spaces to choose from. The hotel property including the parking lot are fenced in and lined with shady trees around its perimeter. For added security, the premises are surveyed by 24-hour on-site security and ongoing camera surveillance. The shuttle service is a quick 15-minute ride to the airport managed by friendly drivers who are able to assist with luggage. Shuttles run every half hour but we encourage travelers to inquire with the hotel directly to obtain the latest shuttle times.
The hotel is located directly across the street from the Mills at Jersey Gardens Mall on the corner of Kapkowski Rd and International Blvd. The closest major streets are Jersey Garden Blvd and North Ave and the closest highway is the NJ Turnpike/I-95. Both major streets and I95 provide an easy way to access the hotel property.
The parking area is adjacent to the hotel, facing Kapkowski Rd. Please find a parking space of your choice and check in with the front desk. Show your parking confirmation and you will receive a placard to place on your dashboard. If you are only using the parking at the hotel and not staying, wait in the lobby for the next available shuttle. Shuttles run every 30 minutes

Getting to the parking lot and the shuttle to the airport was fine. When we returned I called the hotel for the shuttle to pick us up but no one answered. This was around 7PM. I called again and still got no answer so we took a cab. Not pleased to have to pay $45 for a cab when the shuttle should have been included in my parking rate.

Overall excellent, but we didn’t see an Embassy Suite van and got a ride from a hotel next door. I will very likely do this again.

The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful. The female shuttle driver not so much. She refused to wait for us. We were there but just finalizing our check in. The man at the desk asked her to wait a few minutes, she flat out refused. We were supposed to meet some friends at the airport for a quick breakfast and we missed them. We got through TSA and our flight was boarding. Other than the driver, everything else from parking, location, and the young man that checked us in, was top notch. He felt bad and offered us breakfast in the hotel.
This was by far the worst airport parking experience we have ever had. It took us 1.5 hours to get to our car AFTER we had all of our bags. In order to get from Terminal A to the hotel, we had to take a shuttle to a train to the hotel shuttle. We waited 45 minutes for the Embassy Suites airport shuttle to arrive, and it only came after we called the front desk several times. Pick up is only at P4, which is not easy to get to. I will never use Embassy Suites for parking at EWR again. Oh, and we were guests at the hotel.
