I've spent the last several trips out of FLL looking for a parking lot that didn't expect me to wait an hour for pickup after returning home, that treated me (and my time) with respect. FINALLY, I've found it!! They do a better job than the dedicated off-airport facilities do. The wait time to go to the airport was about 12 minutes, and I only had to wait about 13 minutes for pickup upon return. The shuttle drivers are pleasant and helpful. And what an experience upon my return! I got snowed in up north and ended up having to stay an extra 2 days. When I went to pay the additional before getting my car, I apologized for the extra days and asked what I owed. The desk clerk replied, "You couldn't help getting snowed in. There's no charge for those days." I was incredulous!!
When I went to leave the lot, you insert your ticket and the gate is supposed to open. I kept getting a message that my ticket could not be read. Not happy, I pulled over and parked. Before I could walk 5', a bell man walked over and asked what the problem was. When I told him, he opened the gate for me manually. I like being able to pay up front so I don't have to scrounge for $ when I return. Honestly, the dedicated parking lots in the area could learn a few lessons about customer service from the Sheraton. They're my go-to place from here on. I already have another trip booked with them. I've tried them all, and I can state without hesitation this is the best, most stress-free, and most reasonable place to park at FLL airport. And I should know. I've tried 'em all!
