Outdoor Self Parking

I haven't used many parking options by LAX. Most are too expensive for my taste. The Marriott and Hilton stood out to me due to cost and trust in hotel brands. Used Self Park at both. For self park, would choose Marriott every time. Liked the indoor of Hilton, but wait time was larger and poor signage to get to shuttle and back to car. Almost got lost both ways in the hotel. If you have a larger car forget about Hilton self park. Marriott felt easier to get to and from car and like the openness of Marriott's shuttle pick up location.

After using the Self Park at Marriott and Hilton a number of times, the valet option was the same price on a recent trip. So, I figured I'd try it out. Same great location as self park, same easy shuttle ride to and from airport. They have a number you text when you are waiting for the shuttle and they get your car ready for you.
Pros over self park
-Easier to get your stuff too and from shuttle.
-Covered in you're unlucky enough to travel on one of the few days it rains a LAX.
Cons over self park
-Took forever to pay for parking. Probably faster then walking to self park and leaving, but would expect it to have been faster.

Several months ago I parked for a week at the Marriott. When I got home, I noticed several large water rust stains on my hood. They had to be buffed out. After switching to the Hilton for a few months, I decided to give the Marriott another chance because the are a bit closer to the airport. Bad move.Picked my car up on 9/30 and discovered a large ding (or small dent) on my trunk. It looked like someone ran my car into or was hit by a car. Maybe I should have contacted the Marriott, but honestly, I just didn't want the aggravation. Just take care of my car!!

they were a little off this stay. it took several minutes to get a valet for drop off, and when we got back ....more like 15 min for the car to be brought around. ive seen better from these guys, but all in all still one of my fav's.

If you want a new $2,000 dent and a company that could care less and has no idea how to manage their employees through a business process in cases like mine, this is the place for you. They know you can't prove it. They know that if you didn't see it happen they don't have to care or do anything about it. So they will simply say they didn't do it from the beginning to the end. And you will get stuck with the bill. This goes for Towne Park the valet company as well as the Mrriott hotel security department. If I could give them negative stars I would. Unless you have extra money to clean up their mess, find another garage and don't valet keep your keys.

If you want a new $2,000 dent in your car this is the place for you, and then after all that, they just give you a fuck you attitude backed by total incompetence coupled with a flakeathon, until they finally flip you the bird with some stupid letter from corporate, that says tough shit!!!!

I will NEVER park at marriot LAX Parking again. The attendants have no way of finding out how much the balance of your parking is.. unless YOU provide a copy of the Parking Reservation printout. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional. I spent an extra hour trying to resolve the balance on my parking. This won't happen again.

Very happy with Marriott parking, self parked my car and shuttle came right away. It was close to the LAX terminals and picked us right up after arriving back from our vacation. Car was perfect. Would park here again and everytime!!!!!!
