05/17/2010Well, this is the best parking lot of the three that I've used from this website. I really wish LAX had not gotten rid of most of their long term public parking spaces. Parking at LAX used to be a far more hassle free experience than dealing with these private operators. All in all, Fox Park was OK. The only problem is that they also run a car rental service. So they actually pick up from the purple sign areas at the terminals. And they have to stop first on the return trip at their rental office before stopping at the parking office. Their shuttle van is the hardest one to spot, it says "Fox Rental Car" in tiny letters in the front. I misconnected with their shuttle van a couple of times because of these issues. Be sure to show them your discounted reservation, otherwise you will not get the discount. At least this place hasn't tried to rip me off with the discount reservation or overbooked their reservations (unlike Quick Park LAX) or had the shuttle driver hit me up for a tip (LAX Parking Center). Like I said, I really, really miss those nice giant LAX buses to Lots A, B, and C. It used to be one of the more reliable aspects of traveling through LAX. LAX is a horrible enough travel experience without having to add on the hassles of dealing with private parking lot operators.
