08/12/2011I write this review as common courtesy for everyone else out there looking to avoid being scammed by the worst parking facility ever. I landed at 9:45 PM and texted my ticket number and terminal number and I wait at the Purple Car Rental Shuttle sign, just as Fox parking's FAQ suggested. 15 minutes go by and no shuttle. 30 minutes go by, the shuttle drives by, doesn't stop and doesn't even slow down to pick me up. I call and text again. Another 15 minutes go by, no shuttle. By this time, I have seen 7 Wally Park shuttles, 4 The Parking Spot shuttles, and 4 Park and Fly shuttles. 15 more minutes go by, by this time it's been a total of one hour, the Fox shuttle shows up and keeps on driving by not bothering to stop or slow down, regardless that I am waving my arms up and down for him to stop. I had enough. I went over to the taxi cab stand, waited 30 minutes for a cab ride, which costs $19 minimum from LAX, to get a ride 2 miles to the Fox parking lot. I get there and complain and the employee gives me a blank stare and shrugs his shoulders and charges me full price not even apologizing for their shuttle service. I get to my car and all my quarters in my spare change compartment is missing and for some reason, my clock is reset. This is the worst experience ever, and I ended up paying more for parking then if I would have just gone with a reputable company like Wally Park, Park and Fly or the Parking Spot. I am not endorsing these other companies, it's just that I saw way more shuttles from these companies and the shuttle drivers were very pleasant to the people they picked up. Fox parking is just not worth the $8 per day parking. You will be ripped off, disappointed, left stranded getting your car when you come home and customer service is non-existent.
